Terms of Use & Warranty
The following terms & conditions will be incorporated into every part, service or kit supplied by DANTRANS DIFF &
GEARBOX SERVICES A.B.N. 68 509 318 108 (called "the seller").
A. The Buyer hereby acknowledges that the goods & services supplied by the Seller will remain the property of the
Seller until the Buyer has paid all sums owing to the Seller under this or any other contract. In the event of the
Buyer defaulting in any of the terms of this agreement, including the payment of any monies due, then the Seller
will have the right (without giving notice) to retake possession of the goods & services supplied.
B. Prices quoted by DANTRANS DIFF & GEARBOX SERVICES are subject to change without notice. The pricing of the
goods will be exclusive of delivery/freight charges and will be payable by the Buyer. DANTRANS DIFF & GEARBOX
SERVICES reserves the right to increase prices, to take into account any increase to the cost of the seller.
C. The Buyer may return the goods for credit only when the goods have not been opened or used and received by the
Seller in the original condition.
D. All new parts & kits have a warranty of 12 months or 20,000km, whichever occurs first. Warranty claims will not be
issued until the goods have been tested and deemed faulty by the Seller. Warranty does not apply to modified parts or
kits and no claim will be issued on clutches unless the flywheel (if required) has been machined and the clutch has been
fitted by DANTRANS DIFF & GEARBOX SERVICES.
E. Insurance is not included in the freight charge. Insurance, if required, is the responsibility of the Buyer. Customers
wishing to nominate a different freight company other than the one used by the Seller, must arrange this prior to
dispatch of goods by the Buyer. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. The Seller reserves the right to withhold delivery of further goods & services until outstanding amounts are paid.
F. Loss or damage resulting directly or indirectly from participation in motor sports, including but not limited to, racing,
rallying, hill climbing, speedway, drag racing, drifting, track days (timed or untimed) or sprint events.
Warranty Policy
Applies to all differential, clutch and gearbox goods and services.
Fitting the incorrect oil instantly voids our warranty.
Warranty covers defective workmanship and/or materials, provided that the unit has been correctly installed
by the Seller and used in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions. It is a condition of this warranty that the vehicle/unit, for which our warranty applies, be serviced at 20,000km or 12months (Maximum) intervals and that such service be performed by qualified technician and documented.

Exchange Units and all units out of the vehicle

All Exchange units not fitted by DANTRANS Diff & Gearbox Services, will require Kilometres just prior to removing or immediately after refitting the unit or your warranty will be void.

If an issue arises DANTRANS Diff & Gearbox Services must be given the opportunity to inspect and / or drive the vehicle before the unit is removed from the vehicle, failure to do so will void warranty.
Warranty covers defective workmanship and/or materials, provided that the unit has been correctly installed by the Seller and used in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.
It is a condition of this warranty that the vehicle/unit, for which our warranty applies, be serviced at 20,000km or 12 months (Maximum) intervals and that such service be performed by qualified technician and documented.
All differential and gearbox work recommended and executed by DANTRANS DIFF & GEARBOX SERVICES is warranted for a period of 12 months or 20,000km* whichever occurs first, subject but not limited to the following clauses of condition:

All warranty claims must quote invoice number and be approved before re-work can proceed.

All re-work must be completed at DANTRANS DIFF & GEARBOX SERVICES, work done elsewhere will void the
warranty.

Our warranty only applies to standard vehicles driven within their compliance capacity.

Warranty does not cover vehicles which have been subjected to misuse, neglect, contamination or incorrect
grades of lubricant.

Warranty does not cover any vehicle modified from factory specifications.

Supplier's warranty will only apply to new parts supplied and installed by DANTRANS DIFF & GEARBOX SERVICES.

Oils, seals & gaskets, may not be warranted after one month and only on vehicles not driven off road.

Oil seals with foreign matter, causing leaks e.g., sand or dirt, will not be warranted.

This warranty does not cover consequential damage, injury to persons, towing, accommodation or loss of income.

Our warranty policy is limited to repairs of the unit listed on the original invoice.

Our warranty policy covers services and parts applied to motor vehicles and used as intended by the original
manufacturer.

All second-hand parts are sold as fit for the intended use at the time of sale, with limited warranty.

We will not cover warranty on parts supplied by our customers.

We will not cover parts we have supplied, which are fitted by anyone else but DANTRANS DIFF & GEARBOX SERVICES.

If your rebuilt or exchange unit is replaced or repaired during the warranty period, there is no extension of original warranty. It is the owner’s responsibility to maintain and service the transmission as per manufacturers requirements.

Gears (including crown wheels and pinions) generate noise. Absolute quietness is not guaranteed.

Broken gears are not covered under warranty

Broken components are subject to manufacturer’s warranty and may not be covered by our warranty policy.

Warranty is not transferable upon sale of vehicle
In considering the above conditions it must be remembered that breakage of mechanical parts usually occurs as a result of the vehicle being driven beyond its capacity and that the cause of such breakage can be easily assessed. We, therefore welcome all potential complaints but ask that you consider all your circumstances. If you have a genuine
complaint, we ask that you present such a complaint to us, so that we can provide you with our best after sales service.

All invoices are C.O.D unless otherwise specified.

A late payment fee of 2.5% will be charged weekly on all outstanding monies 7 days over and above your due date.

Parts made specially to order which exceed the amount of $250.00, will be required to be paid in full prior to ordering.

Payments can be made through the following: Cash, Credit Card (Visa & Master Card only), Direct Credit, or Cheque.
